OVERVIEW
The education sector, spanning from primary school to postgraduate studies, plays a crucial role in equipping students of all ages with essential skills and knowledge to apply circular economy principles in their future careers.
The Circular Economy & Digital Skills project aims to enhance the use of advanced digital technologies, such as augmented reality and virtual reality, to foster not only digital skills but also professional abilities specifically tailored to the circular economy.
Immersive teaching approaches are intended to boost student engagement, and studies have shown that ICT positively impacts various educational goals, including student attendance, behavior, motivation, attitudes, confidence, and overall engagement.

This is a complex project that integrates a series of initiatives, each targeting specific objectives, but whose effectiveness is amplified by the interaction of these combined efforts. The project approach addresses several key issues:
The low level of digital skills among students as well as teachers
Environmental awareness and the shift toward a circular economy model
Preventing early school leaving
Strengthening the connection between schools and the business sector, encouraging networking and collaboration
Focus areas
These focus areas lay the groundwork for an innovative educational pathway aimed at preparing a new generation of professionals who are aware of and ready to tackle sustainability challenges.
